My younger self would be in awe. She’d be relieved to know that the gut issues that once controlled her days, the acne that made her self-conscious, and the exhaustion that felt endless... are no longer her reality. She’d be so happy to know that we healed. Not perfectly. Not in a way that means we never struggle again. But in a way that means when we do, we know how to take care of ourselves. We know what our body needs, how to listen, how to realign. We no longer feel lost when things feel off—we have the tools, the wisdom, and the trust in ourselves to get back on track. She’d be surprised that the confidence she searched for didn’t come from changing how we looked, but from realizing we were never broken in the first place. That beauty was never about perfection, but about feeling at home in our own skin. She’d be amazed that the businesses she once dreamed up in the back of her mind actually exist now. That the life she once longed for—one filled with purpose, wellness, and deep connection—isn’t just an idea, but something we wake up to every day. She’d be proud that we never gave up. That even in the moments of doubt, exhaustion, and uncertainty, we kept moving forward. And that now, we live with the kind of peace she didn’t even know was possible. I think about her often. And if she could see me now, I know she’d be smiling. And if your younger self could see you now, I bet they’d be proud too. Even if you’re not exactly where you thought you’d be, look at how much you’ve learned, how much you’ve grown. Healing isn’t about perfection—it’s about knowing how to care for yourself, how to come back home to yourself, again and again. So take a moment today to check in. To acknowledge your growth. To remind yourself that you are further along than you think. 💛✨
