Founding the Trans Film Mentorship with @jessicaadams10 is one of the things I’m most proud of. TFM’s first cohort @ms.mylesmua @taylergardner_ @melangeetrange @alisonn.clarkk @just_marica_things made Something You Said Last Night a better place to work and play. This mentorship was our first, and it definitely came with challenges, but our wonderful mentees and their mentors rose to the occasion and came together to make this beautiful film what it is. Big love to our partners, @cinereach, @cmf.fmc and @cbc without who’s support this mentorship would not have been possible. @gabriellerz and @anna_daliza have continued running the mentorship most recently on @hbomaxsortof . I am so happy to see this opportunity live on and disrupt the barriers that make it harder for trans people to gain experience in the industry.
