I was curious what Korean dishes are eaten during Seollal (Lunar New Year), so I asked my friend, @Mark Lee of @Rokstar Chicken, what to order at New Wonjo (📍23 West 32nd St, New York, NY). The spread I tried and drew were tteoguk (rice cake soup), haemul-pajeon (seafood pancake), japchae, mandu, and assorted banchan.
