We got a new sauna from @sunlightensaunas ! And I have been obsessed with evening sleepy 😴 sauna sessions, and this weekend I went to town on practicing CONTRAST THERAPY! *Avoid cold therapy close to the bed due to its paradoxical “warming & awakening” effect! #circadianalignment Now while we do not have a fancy cold plunge, we do have a freezer that makes ice cubes by the plenty and a facet that runs mighty chilly! According to #hubermanlab’s citation of the amazing @susanna_soeberg ‘s 2021 research (she is coming on our podcast soon to discuss cold exposure & sleep!) - ELEVEN MINUTES a week of cold therapy and FIFTY-SEVEN minutes of heat exposure (broken up into achieve-able chucks throughout the week) is sufficient to bring about very impressive improvements in your health!
