I ❤️ powerlifting during my off-season from marathon training. I'm on week 5 of training for two meets. I was genuinely surprised that a 385 lb back squat would feel this comfortable. I wish I had more time before the first June meeting, but I'm so excited. Yesterday, I didn't do too much. It was all about figuring out what my opener and ideal second and third lift numbers will be on Sunday. I wanted to hire a coach, but other finances were calling me. I took a chance on making my own regimen, working on my mobility issues with a stretch therapist, reducing cardio to 2 - 3X wk, and strength at 3 - 4X wk - I feel wonderful. How much do you think I should squat this Sunday as my final weight?
