The odyssey they undertook was epic. Hamza arrived in Spain hidden in the undercarriage of a truck, Amine left his family home when his mother died and Vaffe traveled from Sierra Leone to Morocco to be carried by a man on a jet ski to the Spanish coast. They all met in a center for unaccompanied migrant minors until their 18th birthday when they were separated and moved to other shelters. With these photos we bring together the four friends on a beach located on the outskirts of Barcelona to celebrate friendship and reconnect with what unites us as Mediterranean people.
