Please tell me I’m not the only one that swells up after traveling? 🙋🏻‍♀️😫 (I mean I swell up during traveling too) Here are a few things I do and try not to do when I feel bloated or puffy especially after vacation. 😘 ⚠️It’s important to add that our bodies fluctuate based off what they are going through. That is normal! 🥰 I try not to think about my body while on vacation. I do my best to live in the moment and not let the demons sneak in. The demons that try to tell me “you shouldn’t (insert all the things) because you are bloated.” Once I get home one of the first things I do is try so show myself some love while my body transitions to daily life again. It takes some time and I constantly have to trick my brain into not focusing on the “changes”. All this to say- when our bodies change even temporarily it can really mess with our mental health. Destroy our confidence and even our self worth. It’s sad to say it, but it’s true at least it has been for me for a long time. I’m here to remind you it all is completely normal. You deserve to live your life, enjoy the moments. Try the treats if you want to. Our worth isn’t measured by snatched faces and flat tummies. The photos of you on that trip with swollen eyes etc. are a reminder that you had so much fun you barely slept and maybe had a few cocktails.
