Everyday PLAY / PLAY every day is an interactive kids exhibition, now open @hamiltongalleryvic! In the modern world, there are many options for play - toys to develop every sense and ability, playgrounds to explore and synthesised experiences to stimulate all senses. Even with all these opportunities, a child often wants to play with something which is not prescribed. Give them a new toy, and they will want to play with the box instead. A chair, pots and pains, sheets on the clothes line can offer as much fun as a train set. This exhibition is my ode to our innate sense of play, and that given the opportunity play can happen almost anywhere with almost anything, as both children and adults. Please join me for the official opening party this Saturday 2nd July at 10.30am, with lots of treats and fun activities (for kids and adults) on the day. Exhibition runs until 28th August.
