Today The @kingstrooprha handed back the duties of The Queen’s Life Guard to The @household_cavalry at the official entrance to the Royal Palaces at Horse Guards. The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment has enjoyed some well deserved summer leave but now is back at work ready for the Autumn ceremonial season to begin. The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery will get a break soon after an exceptionally busy year. They’ve done a sterling job here at Horse Guards and we will miss their happy faces and excellent turn out.
