A career highlight, last Friday, at TIFF ⭐️ I had the opportunity to moderate a Women in Film panel celebrating 10 amazing women shaping the future of film, as selected by @thekitca for our September issue. The Next 10 Stars event—in partnership with Hot Docs & the Four Seasons—brought the feature to life in the most beautiful way possible. I’ll remember a lot from the event—including Gail Maurice speaking Michif to a rapt audience and Kelly Fyffe-Marshall sharing her “by any means necessary” motto—but most of all, I’ll remember how impressed & inspired I was by the women on that stage and in that room. That’s a feeling that can change your life if you let it.
