That risk you’re afraid to take could be the one that changes your entire life. I always say there are no coincidences. I had planned to write about risks before I knew that Chris, my now fiancé, would propose in the way he did. Yes, we had talked about marriage and getting engaged, but I didn’t know all the details. I lived in fear for many years, and even after my divorce, when Chris and I first got together, I had a lot to work through as I wasn’t used to the kind of love Chris showed me, as it’s not something I’ve ever received in the past. Like any relationship, we’ve had our ups and downs, but when I realized that I needed to break free from my past and other people’s opinions and start living from my heart, that’s when things changed.
