The stereotype that men age better than women is something I’ve heard all my life and I’ve always wondered where this idea comes from. This book includes a multitude of arguments for why this trope exists from economical reasons to cultural ones etc. but I had never heard of the physical changes that aging creates to men’s faces that makes them according to this book, Survival of the Prettiest by scientist and paychologist Dr. Nancy Ectoff, more attractive so i thought it was interesting and wanted to share this tidbit with you.
