@jenclark.art's VMF2022 mural, "Imaginal Discs", is a symbol of hope, transformation, and community.⁠ ⁠ The mural is located on a building in Strathcona that is home to Canada’s first recovery cafe, a refuge for individuals seeking recovery from homelessness, poverty, isolation, substance use, and other mental health challenges. ⁠ ⁠ The butterflies and moths in the artwork represent transformation. Through the process of metamorphosis, they are changing, shifting, and forming.
