28 laps around the sun ☀️ Have you ever wondered why time passes faster as you get older? I feel like with every year we add to our timeline we slowly lose the fascination about experiencing and soaking up every little second of our life. As a kid everything around us was completely new to us and we interacted way more with it. As time passes we slowly got into a kind of routine. We go to school, get our first job, maybe found a family already having our retirement in mind when we can finally do whatever we want.. and faster than you think you’ll find yourself in the monotony of life. Everything is pretty much already programmed. I think it all comes down to learning how to live more in the present moment and to do things outside of your comfort zone by traveling to new places, meeting new people/cultures, or doing things you’ve never done before which sparks our inner child again. Because in the end routine is the enemy of time ✌🏻
