Indie clinics and abortion funds are on the very front lines of abortion access NOW, working hard to make sure people can get their abortions. 💞 Get plugged in with EXISTING organizations and networks, and be patient. We are so grateful that so many people want to get involved! But indie clinics, abortion funds, and practical support networks are small, deeply under resourced, and really overwhelmed right now. Reach out to a local org to get involved, and be patient (you can donate in the meantime)! 📢 Talk about abortion with everyone you know! It might not feel flashy or big, but it’s SO IMPORTANT. We all need to be able to have thoughtful conversations about why abortion is so important - it’s a human right, it’s essential healthcare, and it’s been a big part of so many of our lives (and our loved ones’ lives).
