We are in year three of my collaboration with @getawayhouse for our Year Of Rest program! Nominations are closing soon -- together with Getaway, we committed to offering 365 free nights of rest to those on the ground who day in and day out offer their time, energy and effort for community care. Three years ago, I recognized that my own rest found in their beautiful cabins was impactful and important to my well being -- and that this is a space many other Black people might be able to tap into the ease, simplicity and joy I know we all deserve.
