My Hand (a little light in the dark) I painted the gallery walls in a prism, from violet to red. According to the color the painting is hung on and the different light of day, the experience of the painting changes. White walls are a convention we accepted and normalized to the point they’re invisible. I wanted to play with perception and light in the walls of this show.
