I am more than honored to announce my candidacy for Delta Gamma’s 2022 Anchorman, part of their Anchorsplash fundraiser, on behalf of the brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Anchorsplash is a yearly event, organized by DG, that raises thousands of dollars for Service for Sight, DG’s national philanthropy. Service for Sight provides vital services to the blind and visually impaired community across the United States. As someone who wants to be an Opthalmologist after college, this philanthropy is really important and personal for me. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to make a difference and appreciate any funding I can garner, regardless of how big or small. Be sure to buy a ticket from me for the actual event on Sunday November 20, 2022! I also will be at share it night on Tuesday November 15th at Tin Lizzy’s Cantina from 6-8pm to raise some money. SAE is also hosting a movie night on November 19th to raise even more money! We are planning on having a showing of Ice Age in our courtyard at 415 W College Ave from 8:30-11:30pm and will be selling tickets and snacks to raise even more money. In typical DG fashion, let’s “Do Good” by contributing what we can to this important philanthropy. I am more than excited to make a difference in the community, dance at the event🕺🏿 and most importantly, help the visually impaired! I hope you all are inspired to do the same this week!
