It’s me, I’m the Bitch that stole Christmas! 🎄🎄🎁🎁 My props were in a Movie! I was really fortunate to work on a couple different jobs over the summer and when I got the call for these I was nervous but really excited! You have to have quite the imagination to make an alligator holding a tea cup come to life. I have made some ceramics years ago but never thought I was any good. Well I surprised myself with this sculpture after hours of YouTube! This was my first time baking with an armature inside and working with @sculpey_official . I used a variety of tools to make the skin texture even making a couple of my own with paper clips and dowel rods. I finished it off with a tiny paper tea bag tag! The Glass bottle ornament was probably one of the most dangerous things I’ve made. It was difficult doing controlled breaks of bottles in my house. I opted to use Mexican soda bottles instead of beer because it was cheaper but still had the color. They wanted the aesthetic to be messy and added the pictures of the queens later. I’m amazed the talent was able to handle it without injury! I used a silver ornament as a base and used a variety of adhesives from hot glue to resin to arrange the broken glass pieces around it. I had to wear gloves and use tweezers for the whole project. Overall very happy with the outcome of the project. It’s a dream to have your work in a Christmas movie let alone one with Rupaul!
