Last week I had the honour of speaking at the British ambassadors event, Ambassador for a day, at D’Angleterre. My nerves were at their peak, and it was overwhelming and scary to do a speech in front of so many amazing strong women. Women that I myself have followed and seen accomplish amazing things, so to be the key note speaker alongside Susanne Bier, Nima Tisdall and Isabella Alonso de Vera Hindkjær, was a big acknowledgment for me. In the audience we had ambassadors from countries such as Uganda, South Africa, Croatia, The Great Britain and so many more. Apart from speaking in front of these amazing women, I was also there to act as an inspiration for the 19 girls that participated in the women’s day writing competition. To be an inspirational role model for them. 🤍💪🏾🥹
