I can still remember riding in the car around the age of five or six with the stereo blasting “Been Caught Stealing” by Janes Addiction. For many years of our young life that was by far the most heavily requested song by my sister and I cause we loved hearing the dogs barking in the intro. Perry & my dad met on the middle school basketball team where they grew up in Miami and have been close friends ever since. The basketball got replaced with a surfboard and there were a few joints smoked along the way but to this day they still get in the water to share some surf sessions every year when Perry and his family come out to visit in Hawai’i. Was awesome to go full circle and kick off our trip to Chile with our first ever Lollapalooza alongside the King @perryfarrellofficial and Queen @ettylaufarrell. Icing on the cake was @foofighters bringing Perry out to perform “Been Caught Stealing”. Such a great memory and so grateful to Perry and Etty for letting us tag along and helping us kick off the trip with a bang 🤘🏽
