A cultural monolith and absolutely catastrophic loss for the world - it’s hard to put into words what @virgilabloh came to represent for me. Three months ago - to the day - I had the opportunity to meet Virgil for the first time in the place he grew up. I was unusually anxious ahead of the shoot day but when he walked in, completely relaxed and unassuming... the energy he brought was contagious. We all have our own battles to wrestle with, but I’m not sure it’ll ever sit right knowing how much pain sits right under the surface. Forever inspired by a lifetime of intense intense creativity and the willingness to bring that energy into new spaces.
