🚨 Quick Hurricane Ridge Winter Operations Update 🚨 🏔 The Hurricane Ridge Road is scheduled to be open Friday and Saturday this weekend. It will be closed for the Christmas holiday. Then it is scheduled to be open again from 12/26 thru 1/1/2023. As always, this is dependent on road and weather conditions. ☃️ The Hurricane Ridge area has around 42 inches of snow. Plenty for snowshoeing and skiing! ⛷ The Hurricane Ridge Ski Area is only operating its two rope tows at this time. They need a few more feet of snow before they can open the poma lift. Tubing is also available through the Ski Area. ❄️ Ranger Led Guided Snowshoe Walks will begin on 12/31. For the time being they will only be offered on Saturdays. The walk starts at 1:30 and sign-up begins at 1:00 inside the visitor center. Walks are free, but limited to 20 participants. Snowshoes provided.
