"I spent two and half amazing days in Cartagena with a couple of friends. It was my first time in Cartagena, in fact my first time in Colombia. Cartagena is a wonderful city with lots to see and do. As warm and friendly as people in Cartagena are, the staff at Casa San Agustin take it to another level. We booked Acasí private beach tour the first day. We were welcome by Gladys at the concierge station. She couldn’t have been warmer. She made us feel right at home from the get-go. She then turned us over to Julio who was in charge of our Acasi tour. Julio did a masterful job of handling every single detail of our trip (transportation, food, music, etc). Talking about food, our private chef at Acasi, Bernardo, delighted us with local favorites like Ceviche, Arroz con Coco, Patacones, and Lightly Breaded Fried Fish. Food was outstanding! In terms of the room, hotel service and amenities, this hotel is simply amazing. Prior to arriving in Cartagena, we spent some time in nice hotels in Bogota and Medellin, but none of those can compare with our experience at Casa San Agustin. I cannot recommend highly enough!
