Got to celebrate Tết Trung Thu in Vietnam this year (in a custom áo dài too!) Child me would be so stoked if she got to see me now, Tết Trung Thu was always my favorite day of the year as a kid because it was the one day in the year I got to run around by myself and enjoy public life, be surrounded by community, play games with friends, watch performances, and eat good food and moon cakes. :’) So nice to be around community again.
