New product combo using a “wash now/style later” approach. First page displays “before and after” pics featuring @royallockscurlcare Pro Curl cream gel styler, second page root displays root clipping at 50% dry and features @curlkeeper products/accessories used, third page hair features all products used and shows my hair totally wet with leave-in products/stylers used. On wash day (swipe to page 3) I used @davinesofficial Heart of Glass Shampoo & Conditioner which helps to neutralize yellowish tones in silver and blonde hair (and I love it’s divine salon fragrance!). I then raked in and brushed through @curlsmith_official Curl Conditioning Oil-in-Cream and let my hair air dry. The following day I rewet my hair thoroughly and raked in @royallockscurlcare Curl Rescue leave-in conditioner (about a tsp) followed by several puddles of @curlkeeper Original solution. Brushed through using the @curlkeeper flexy wet brush, then raked in four nickel size dollops of @royallockscurlcare Pro Curl cream gel (1 dollop per hair section X 4 sections). Brushed through with the Flexy brush for even distribution and to help with curl clumping, shook out curls, then leaned over to gently scrunch using very wet hands. Swipe to page 3 to see hair wet with products. Let air dry for about 45 min (until a soft cast has formed over hair that is no more than 50% dry), turned upside down and gently shook head to loosen the roots, then turned right side up to clip the crown area using @curlkeeper roller jaw clamps (swipe to page 2). This gives my hair extra volume and root lift since my curl pattern does not start at the crown (I have a 2A curl pattern at crown that progresses to 2B in the middle, then 2C on the lower half of my hair and the underneath hairs). I then diffused my lower curls until about 75% dry (to remove extra water weight), followed by more air drying (as long as I have time for). Diffused the clipped crown area to make sure it was dry before removing the roller jaw clamps. Shook out curls and turned upside down to gently loosen the crown with my fingers and SOTC. #curlyhairroutine #curlyhaired #curlproducts #curlcommunity #curlfriends #silvercurls
