I remember the first time I met you in the 5th grade all I ever wanted to do was play for you and impress you. From DeMatha camp as a kid, to you allowing me to watch y’all practice when I was in middle school, all I ever wanted to do was play for you. Nobody stepped up more for my family than you did, especially when I lost my Dad. I wasn’t an All American yet I was young freshman who hadn’t accomplished anything yet, you and @free_sammy took turns picking me up every morning to get me to school to help my mom. On Holidays and special dates you made sure you would come over to the house and check on the family. Still to this day you haven’t stopped going out of your way to look out for the Cook’s. We made history together and you taught me how to be a man. You gave me the belief in myself that I could be special at this game and always held me accountable in life. You gave me life lessons I still use to this day. I played my first game for you 14 years ago and we are even closer now. You haven’t stopped coaching me and guiding me through life and I’m forever thankful for our relationship. I love you Coach and I’m so proud of all you’ve done for all of us! RiP DAD!
