marinating in all my feelings thinking ab my grandma this morning. She was a magical person with a laugh that filled the whole house. She had a special language with dogs whom she loved unconditionally. Delcy was sick for a lot of her life but she held on for years longer than most thought she could. When she died in 2020, I was given her 35mm camera she had traveled through Europe with years earlier. I wish she could see the places and people her camera has led me to. I wish I could talk to her about how film has reconnected generations of women in my family.
