Gracias por tanto. Sarah Schlesinger changed my life. She was always there for me. She was the one recommending me for so many projects and encouraged me always to tell my stories, to be honest with my writing. When I had just a few months at the program my mom had a brain hemorrhage and I had to go back to Mexico. She was the most supportive. I went back to Mexico a couple of times and eventually my mom passed away. Sarah was always there by my side. I used to work at the office and I will never forget that when I came back from Mexico she even made up many extra hours so NYU could pay me more and help me financially after my loss. You were an angel Sarah and you changed and saved many lives and their stories. Thanks for teaching me how to write those stories. Rest in peace. @nyu_tisch_gmtwp
