I’ve had many requests for a full build breakdown of my Super-Eldo Commute bike. Here ya go! —— @crustbikes Evasion @crustbikes Towel Rack handlebars @trpcycling brake levers @microshiftofficial bar-end shifter @paulcomponent Klampers, stem & seatpost @whiteind 34T M30 crankset & BB @srammtb GX Eagle mech & 12spd 10-50t cassette @brooksengland B17 saddle & microfiber bartape @swiftindustries bags @suunto 9 watch @quadlockcycle phone mount @ridewithgps navigation & routebuilding @envecomposites M630 rims, SON dynamo hub @reneherse 650x55mm Umtanum Ridge tires @sinewavecycles Beacon dynamo light @chriskingbuzz headset Tubus Duo lowrider racks — Full packed bike weight before food and water was 66lb (prob 66.6, actually 👹). Climbing gear was a 9.2x36m lead line, 6x30m tag line both @petzl_official, a double rack 0.3-2, plus a #3 and a black @totemcamsusa for good luck 😉. @lasportivana TC Pro’s, Mutants, and clothes 🥾👕. @quocshoes Gran Tourer bike shoes 👞. Usual camping/sleeping gear (bag, bivy, z-lite pad). @jetboil stove. — Couldn’t have been more happy with the Evasion! The heavier tubeset handled all the weight while making the washboards feel like butter. Only major changes I would’ve made was maybe leave the #3 behind, only bring a 30m rope, and bring my @seatosummit ultralight air mattress for extra comfort. Oh yeah, leave behind @dannygilbert23’s @beal.official Escaper, too. Never used it and those things are horrifying, but it is good insurance on the Diamond when climbing on such a short rope.
