A few of my favorite marathon tips: 🗓️ Get into a routine. Set a time every day that works with YOUR schedule to get your training done, then make it a priority. I find that waking up early to run before the obligations of the day start to pile up is the best bet for me in my buildup to the TCS NYC Marathon. 📔 Log your training. Keeping track of your runs and how you felt will help you notice upward trends in your fitness, identify early warning signs of injury, and just adds a bit of intentionality to the process. ⏱️ Find a coach or plan. We operate best when we have accountability in life and in running. Working with a coach, or finding a training plan for your ability level will help you take the guesswork out of your day-to-day and allows you to focus on the running itself.
