Wonderful update! Defra has announced that new legislation will be laid today to provide stronger legal protections for beavers in England 🤩🥳 Thank you to our supporters for helping to secure a wilder future for beavers 💚🦫 These protections will make it an offence to deliberately harm beavers which could pave the way for the animals to be released into the wild under licence. Beavers are “ecosystem engineers”, they are key to creating thriving wetland habitats!
