Day 1 & 2 of 5 backpacking the W trek in Patagonia. Started off the first 7 miles in dumping rain but by the afternoon when we finally reached Grey Glacier the storm had passed, making the wet hike in well worth it. Watched the sun set behind the glacier, pitched our tent, and after a cold night around 30 degrees we woke up to not a cloud in the sky. Decided to go last minute on a kayak expedition to the Glacier and were treated with a rare glassy lake surrounded by massive icebergs with deep blue color. Hands were cold and muscles were sore, but spirits were high 🏔
