TODAY WE LOST A CREATIVE GENIUS @manfredthierrymugler He and his work inspired many, in fashion, art , performance & beyond his shows were marathons of theatre, drama ,dreams and beauty, crazily camp and otherworldly. More then just the "power dressing" business suit you see almost every drag queen wearing today. He was also a huge advocate for the Lgbtq+ community and cast trans models like Connie Fleming & Teri Toye in the 90s AND presented the VERY 1st LIFE BALL in 92. Many have been inspired by his work just as I was for my first ever show in 2018 recreating the infamous "Too funky" #georgemicheal video. It’s with poetic beauty he passed away as his exhibition was still being celebrated at Musée des Arts Décoratifs #muglerized And at the start of Paris couture FW.
