In the eight years we’ve been parents, I can count on one hand the times we’ve been away together without children. Every time we do it, we preach its importance and that we need to do it more often, but then life gets in the way. It is so important to remember who we are outside the logistical juggle of 3 kids and cricket practice,violin lessons, nap times, bath time, school runs... and then work.
