There are claims that the Reuben sandwich was created in 1914 in NYC but since NY takes so much credit for many things, let's give a shout-out to Omaha, Nebraska for creating the sandwich in 1924. The Reuben contains corned beef, Russian dressing, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and rye bread. My version has the same ingredients just in a parmesan cheese taco shell.
