How I keep my Edits to a minimal 📸 . . One of the worst things you can do is falsely sell your work with over-edited pics... imagine if a client goes to you thinking you are going to give them evenly colored brows and you turn up with patchy brows? That client is going to rip you apart to all her friends😂 🎈First I take my pics with tons of light & make sure it’s focused very well (have you ever tried editing a half blurred pic😒) 🎈 I use @facetune to enhance the pictures not alter them. 🎈I go over any blemishes 🎈I detail the eyes to enhance the color (sometimes for younger clients I will add a bit of an eyeliner) 🎈I adjust the photo color if it’s too dark & dull either lighten or darken the color of the picture (I do not touch the brows everrrr, any edits that happen to go over the brows I erase them to keep the original format in that area) Things you have to remember: 1- we are our worst critics 2- the consumer does not see all of the details we see in our art (You & I know what to look at when looking at other artists work and our own) 3- we will only keep improving our work when we are honest with ourselves about our work & that will push us to only get better Over-editing is the same thing as over-promising.
