I was in a hurry today so skipped the styling gel on this wash day featuring @evolvh products, and used a styling cream instead of gel: Cleansed with UltraShine moisture shampoo, then applied the UltraShine moisture conditioner for 30 minutes before rinsing in cool water. Into wet hair I then raked in about 5 tsp of Total Control styling cream (1tsp per hair section X 5), then wet brushed through for even distribution. Clipped fringe and let air dry for about 45 min before diffusing the rest of the way dry, using the prongs of my Black Orchard diffuser to lift up my crown area and scoop up curls. My hair dries pretty quickly without gel, and it turned out well initially, but the style didn’t last more than a couple of hours before starting to frizz up and lose definition and curl. I ended up finger-raking through some hair oil to get me through the day with smooth waves.
