Memphis Chroma Collective (MCC) is a community for video artists in the Memphis, TN area. The term “video artist” is purposely broad, and includes artists with an interest in live visual performances, analog video synthesis, glitch and circuit-bent vintage video gear, projection mapping, animation, VJing, and interactive installations. MCC’s vision is to enable our community of artists to get out of the house and perform in public, by sharing tips and tools of the trade, and removing knowledge gaps that make public performances a challenge. MCC seeks to create a scene where multiple video artists are performing on a regular basis, creating further demand for our art form. MCC plans to accomplish its goals through monthly in-person meetups, collaborative performances, and knowledge sharing in our online forum.
