Robbie Love Smith this morning just after breakfast. 📽 I was messaging with a friend about how good it feels to create personal work - it doesn’t cater to anything but the moment. Growing up I spent countless hours rummaging through my Grandma’s boxes of old photos...some her own and others inherited - I would choose this over any activity. She was always patient, never rushing me through them. Sometimes I wonder if that nostalgia rubbed off on my hands themselves, all those days of admiring timeless prints. I like to imagine so - and I especially wish I could tell my Grandma just how much her love of old things inspires me daily when I’m creating new. 🖤
