Twenty-Nineteen has been my year of Growth, Healing, Manifestation and Lessons Learned. I’ve seen so many beautiful things happening for the Dominican Community and So Many of Us Rising! Worked on a little project in July with Nike+ and Footlocker prior to the opening of Footlocker in Washington Heights. The idea was to feature community members from the Heights and beyond as part of an interview series. I WAS STOKED to be featured as “one of ‘the heights’ top up and coming photographers”, but I was also very nervous. I’m so used to seeing everything through the lens so this was a challenge and learning lesson for me. I’m happy I didn’t let my anxiety and fear hold me back.
