Here are 3 steps for the perfect photoshoot: [Remember to SAVE this post so you can come back to it later!] 1️⃣ Gear check Check your camera gear. make sure all the equipment is cleaned, functioning properly, batteries are charged, and cards are cleaned (and backed up!). 2️⃣ Itinerary Create an itinerary/timeline so you know where to be and when. This helps ensure that everyone is on the same page (photographer, couple, and hair/make-up). Use Google Map locations of where to meet so there isn’t any confusion. 3️⃣ Dress for success This is both for you and your clients! We always advise our couples how to look and feel their best, and offer suggestions on outfit selections based on the mood and location. We always try to match the theme or location of where we’re photographing too. Fashion and style are a big part of who we are so we embrace that. Bonus tip! ➡️ Do preliminary scouting with Google Earth and check the sun’s position using an augmented reality app (Sun Surveyor). Sun Surveyor lets you input an address and uses the closest Google street view location to overlay the sun so that you can track its location by time of day.
