I’ve sacrificed participating in many opportunities that people say should provide me with financial stability in order to build a life I can actually enjoy. If I’m not present with myself, I won’t be much use to anyone else. Of course I need money to take care of myself and those I love, but not at the cost of my mental health and wellness.
