CHICAGO MARATHON 🏃🏻‍♀️🌟🏙️ ~ marathon number 2 of this year and we ran a 3:58 !! This was such a fun race and I am so so grateful to have so many amazing people support me for this race. I feel so LOVED 💖 Race recap 🌟: I went into this race wanting to have fun and do my best (of course). I tried to maintain a consistent pace throughout the race instead of rushing the first half. My bowels were not having it and I had to use the porta potties 3 times throughout this race which cut into the time but we still subbed 4 🤪 ended up taking a lil dumpy at mile 17, and got runners high at mile 22 (crazy feeling btw). Overall, I felt super strong compared to my first marathon and finished injury free which is all that matters. I feel so blessed to have a body that allows me to do crazy things like this 🥰 What an amazing weekend this has been as well ~ I’ve met so many amazing runners and I feel so empowered being surrounded by them. What race should we do next? 👀
