Well... if you are seeing this, THANK YOU! Thanks for sticking around for my 1.5 year hiatus from Instagram! I’m not sure about you guys but hasn’t this just been the longest yet quickest period of your life!? I’m not going to lie it’s been rough, for everyone. But all other obvious factors aside from only being able to work 3 steady months of the last 18, I think the hardest thing to overcome for me personally was not having my purpose. I’ve learnt a lot about myself without having a purpose though. I’ve learned to be more accepting of circumstances I can’t control, to be okay with not working flat out 100% of the time, I’ve learned to be okay with not feeling useful, I’ve learned self acceptance and that self care is not just a face mask and a blow wave. But most of all, I’ve learned to be kind to myself and have practiced a lot of self love, because I needed to - to get me through. I am a super passionate person and also a very all in or nothing kind of person too. I think even more so after coming out the other end of this experience. I know what I want and I know what I love. I put my heart and soul into everything I do and every client that I meet and I am proud of that. I am proud to be me and I am proud of the morals and values that I carry within my business. This period of time has made my passions and my priorities very clear to me. I love what I do and I couldn’t be happier to pour my focus and energy back into doing what I love, my purpose. I finally feel whole again and I feel I have my mojo back. I hope this experience although tough for everyone, has taught you something in some way and you have come out better off for it. Even if you haven’t realised it yet or you feel like you didn’t achieve very much, upon reflection I bet you learned and achieved a lot. Achievements are not just a physical thing or something you can tell people about, they are experiences, learning curves, growth and knowledge.
