A tuneup race or “dress rehearsal” long run is a key part of the marathon build! It’s crucial to show up to the marathon start line feeling as relaxed and prepared as possible. Doing a tuneup race or race simulation workout 4-6 weeks out from race day is a great opportunity to practice the mental and physical routines you plan to put in place on marathon morning.

🥞 Breakfast/pre-race meal—timing and amount
⏰ Wake-up call—you’ll be up bright and early on the morning of the TCS NYC Marathon
