Long overdue trip to BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Temple in Chino Hills, California. A spur of the moment decision to get up and go see it today but glad it all worked out. Thanks to the friendly staff, the handicapped parking close by, the elevator access to the main mandir we were able to see and the yummy Gujarati treats including the best dhokhla we had in a long time. The incredible carvings on the Italian marbles that were shipped when completed in India and assembled here is nothing short of an architectural marvel. Papa and I had been to Akshardham in Delhi in 2016 but glad Mujtaba jan got to see this one here and appreciate the beauty of the craftsmanship and dedication that went into it.
