That’s a wrap on the US in Progress section of the @americanfilmfestival ! I’m not gonna lie - screening an unfinished “work in progress” film is pretty nervewracking - but it’s all made worthwhile by the incredible support of the fest and it’s organizers who took such good care of us during a whirlwind 3 days in Wroclaw, Poland. . The best part is getting to spend time with other filmmakers and see their incredible films. Can’t wait to see your finished projects @dawnjonesredstone @peteohs @s_d_s @public.cousins @chicatronica . SUPER excited that SWALLOWED won the @fixafilm prize - which means our VFX and deliverables will be coming from halfway around the world! (“deliverables”sounds super unsexy but it’s a crazy expense that comes at the end of the process when the $$ is usually long gone and emotional exhaustion has set in - so I couldn’t be happier having the peace of mind that we’ve got them covered;) . Who would have thought this tiny little film made by a handful of people in the backwoods of Maine would get the support of one of the most badass post facilities in Poland! . Now it’s time to finish the film…! . This is the incredible @jenamalone as ALICE from SWALLOWED. I can’t wait for you all to meet her….
