The Climber by Shinichi Sakamoto is seriously mind blowing It feels different from almost anything i'd read (berserk) even other psychological manga and the art itself however the same can be said for everything Sakamoto wrote after Kokou no Hits There isn’t much to talk about in the beginning of the story since it starts out like a standard shonen sports series with high school clubs love interests rivals, and competitions There are a lot of super exaggerated feats and eccentric characters to go along with all this much more focused on Mori and his personal state of mind It becomes more depressing more interesting and less exaggerated Mori becomes a far more fleshed out character and those around him become far more intriguing and im loving this manga it got a special place in my heart thanks @Stassywassy for showing me this treasure of art ##drawing #art
