It didn’t suck, it just brought a whole eff ton of grief, took my sweet pup.. a lot of change and a lot of hard times. But a lot of joy, a lot of joy despite the hard.. a lot of joy because of the hard. When we found out our dog was sick, we took him to VA where he spent his puppy days.. we spent a week in the middle of woods, together. I started my postcard club, a dream and everything I was looking for in terms of connection and inspiration to keep creating. I started a new job, that immediately showed they valued me.. and seeing myself in a new role that actually treats me like an asset to the team was everything I needed to get over experiences with toxic workplaces. I gained a nephew, and found more places to pour my love into (aunt to 2 nephews and a niece now!) Was able to buy new furniture & treat myself in ways I never have before, because I actually have a good job now Life has been real good and real bad lately.. it’s important to notice them both, and make space for all the feelings. Whether they’re feelings you want to have or not.
